Leadership

Desta M. Abreha

Founder and Managing Director

Desta M. Abreha studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at Mekelle Institute of Technology and has worked for more than a decade in design, media, digital communication and project coordination. He was a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow and took part in the U.S. State Department's Professional Development Experience with Catholic Relief Services.

He founded Meskot after learning professional skills himself from online video tutorials, and leads the team of local teachers who adapt the approved curriculum into video lessons.
